Children's Miracle Network
The Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation is a member of Children's Miracle Network - an international non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals across North America. Organizations across Canada partner with Children's Miracle Network to initiate hundreds of special events and grassroots fundraisers year-round in support of their local hospital. Donations to Children’s Miracle Network create miracles by funding medical care, research and education that saves and improves the lives of more than 2.6 million Canadian children each year.

Southern Alberta Child & Youth Health Network
Thanks to community support, the Alberta Children’s Hospital helped to establish the Southern Alberta Child & Youth Health Network (SACYHN).
The Network is a dynamic, voluntary collaboration among individuals and organizations concerned with the health and well being of all children, youth, and families.
SACYHN serves as a vital link between the support of the hospital and the services and programs in the community for children and youth.

Rotary/Flames House
Calgary is the first city in Alberta and only the sixth in North America to open a hospice and respite care centre for children. Rotary/Flames House has opened its doors right next door to the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
“Like our new hospital, Rotary/Flames House is the perfect example of the power of community support,” says Saifa Koonar, President and CEO of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation. “The Flames and Rotarians called on this city to follow their philanthropic lead, and people responded very generously. This is a perfect example of what happens when a community wraps its arms around kids.”
Because our community responded so quickly and so generously, some families who were consulted on the project who worried that their children might not live long enough to benefit, are hoping to see and use it themselves.
Rotary/Flames House will serve an estimated 400 families each year whose children face progressive or life-threatening illness. Its construction has been made possible by many kindhearted donors, including the Flames Foundation for Life, Rotary Clubs of Calgary and the Alberta Lottery Fund.
We raise funds for excellence in child health & family centred care. More...
