Thanks to the generosity of people like you, we are the first community in Canada in 20 years to open a new free-standing hospital for children.

You can help improve the long-term health of our children. A growing population, ever-emerging new strains of diseases, and advancing and expensive new technology/treatments all contribute to the growing need for community support.

Family centred care is a philosophy celebrated by the Alberta Children’s Hospital, that recognizes the important role families play in the physical, psychological and spiritual well-being of their children. This model of care embraces family members as key partners in a child’s healing team.
