Hosting your own fundraising event is easy!
Step 1: Decide how you want fundraise. There are lots of different ways to inspire your family and friends to help the kids at the Alberta Children's Hospital. Do you want to do it on your own, or with a group of people? Talk about your ideas with your friends, parents and teachers. Sometimes it helps to bounce ideas off other people and see what they think! Kids have helped the hospital in lots of different ways. You may want to consider one of these options: walk / swim / read / dance / bike-a-thon, lemonade stand, bake sale, garage sale, or head shave.
Step 2: Now that you've decided how you want to raise money for the hospital, it's time to create your personal fundraising event!
Step 3: Tell us about your plans. We love to hear what our Kids Helping Kids ambassadors are doing to help the hospital. Please fill out the Kids Helping Kids Fundraising event form.
Step 4: Share your event and start raising money! In your personal Kids Helping Kids participant centre, you'll be able to set a fundraising goal, send emails to your friends and family and track your success. Set up your fundraising page or contact us directly, and we will work with you to get your fundraising page up and running!
Please note: In order to protect our donor and fundraiser privacy, we have implemented a $5 fee to set-up your personal fundraising page. This fee will be applied to your overall fundraising goal, and is tax deductible. It is an easy way to kickstart your fundraising campaign, and your fee will be applied at the end of the registration process.
