The auction is a wonderful way to complete your holiday shopping while supporting those who rely on care at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Event Information
Parking & Check-in
We strongly encourage guests to carpool or use car services. For those driving, there is limited paid parking available in Lots 10 and 11, with additional paid parking in Lot 3 and 5. Please note there will be shuttle service available from Lots 3 and 5 between 5:15 – 7:00 pm and again from 9:00 – 11:00 pm. Plan ahead with this handy map
Check-in will take place at the main doors of Hall E and tickets are not required. Coat check will be outside the main doors of Hall D. From the moment you arrive, the KidZone fun, food stations, silent auction and more will be open and ready to explore! You’ll find maps throughout the room and in your program.
KidZone Fun
Games, attractions and animal friends — be ready to visit more than 20 activations in the KidZone. There will be fun for all ages and so much to explore!
We’ve got ponies on track to visit at Candy Cane Gala! Kids ages 4–12 can enjoy rides, and everyone can pose for adorable photos. If anyone in your group has animal allergies, just a heads-up so you can plan comfortably.
Kids Helping Kids
You’re never too young to help others! Be sure to visit the Kids Helping Kids Emporium in the KidZone, where children and teens can make their own $10 – $50 donation and help those who rely on care at the Alberta Children’s Hospital!
Food & Beverage
Graze throughout the night or sit and enjoy the evening’s delicacies at your table, where you’ll also find some light snacks to nibble on. Food to accommodate various allergies and dietary restrictions are clearly marked at the stations. Complimentary wine is available all night at the Whistle Cork Stations, and kids can enjoy punch and hot chocolate at special stations just for them!
Presentation
Join us in the dining room at your assigned tables around 7:30 pm for a special presentation and delicious treats — there will be a countdown letting you know when it’s time! Please note, during this time, the KidZone and food stations will take a pause. Following the presentation, the family dance will begin and the KidZone and food stations will re-open!
