Give it some thought
Consider what wonderful talents and skills you can leverage and create an idea for a fundraiser that’s realistic and sustainable. Talk it over with a few people who will have the complementary skills to support your efforts. They can be your friends, family members, colleagues., staff, or neighbours – even better: a mix of all of them to open up everyone’s world of networking!

Put your plan into action
Plan, promote and execute your initiative. Involve key people in all areas of your life and put them to work. People are always happy to help a friend – especially for a great cause. Remember, you will have our support – and gratitude – the whole way!

Celebrate
Your fundraiser was a staggering success! It’s time to reap the rewards. Don’t be shy or modest about sharing your initiative with others. You have earned full bragging rights! And you might just inspire and encourage new people to become supporters of the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Go-getters like you are real leaders in our community – and you can be an important mentor to someone else. On top of the amazing feeling of making a difference in a child’s life, you can now unlock new benefits such as:
