Thank you for your willingness to share your time! Our amazing volunteers help in a number of ways in the community and with our fundraising events. There are many ways!

You can donate online or over the phone by calling us at 403.955.8818 with your credit card. If you are at the hospital, you may also drop off your donation at either of our donation boxes located on-site. One is located by Admitting and the other is just outside the Foundation doors on the 2nd floor.

You can also send it by mail: We accept cheque, money order or cash. Please make cheques and money orders payable to “Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.”

We sure can! You can request one by emailing us. Receipts are processed in the timeliest manner possible, so your patience is very much appreciated.

Due to infection prevention and control policies and to protect kids with compromised immune systems, the Foundation can only accept newly purchased items.

Toys, games, crafts can brighten a child’s stay in hospital, and we appreciate your interest! Please visit this page for our wish list and for more useful information about the kinds of gifts we gratefully accept on behalf of kids and families.

You can! Whether it’s a car, truck, RV, boat, motorcycle or other vehicle, both Donate A Car Canada and Car Heaven will look after everything. The Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation will send you a tax receipt after your car donation is complete.

We do not accept used furniture. Rocking chairs are evaluated on a case-by-case basis if there is a need for one. For more information, please contact the Foundation office at 403.955.8818.

Toy and gift donations are being accepted by appointment only at the Alberta Children’s Hospital between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Please contact us at 403-955-8862 or kids@achf.com to book your appointment and arrange a time for delivery. Unfortunately, not. Toy donations are delivered by hospital staff to protect the privacy and health of young patients.
