Children’s Healthcare Canada

The Alberta Children’s Hospital, Research Institute and Foundation work closely with partners within our community and across the country to advance innovation and excellence in children’s healthcare. As an example, the head of our hospital serves on the board for Children’s Healthcare Canada which represents 38 healthcare delivery organizations across the country. It identifies and advocates for solutions to the most pressing issues facing Canadian youth.

The focus of Children’s Healthcare Canada’s work is:

  • to inform the development of innovative and integrated health systems for children
  • to share evidence and accelerate the implementation of high quality child, youth and family centred care, wherever it is delivered
  • to unite strategic partners in children’s health
  • to advocate to improve children’s health and health systems
